I’ve been writing and communicating for a living since 2014. I’ve worked as a development director, a marketing director, a content editor, a social media editor. I’ve written grant proposals, case statements, newsletters, donor emails, web-sites, political platforms, and essays. One lesson has followed me from the tiny office in Southwest Greensboro, through the Midwest, New England, and now to the Lone Star State:
